Admissions

LWIS-USL does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, nationality or ethnic origin, religion, gender, or physical ability in the admission of its learners.

Applicants to the school are selected on the basis of good citizenship, academic potential in the LWIS-USL program, and desire to benefit from and contribute to the school community. Special attention is given to each applicant’s prior academic and non-academic record in school, as measured by grades, the placement test, government test results if applicable, and letters of recommendation from teachers and others who know the applicant well.

In making the selection among applicants, the Admission Committee considers current capacity at the recommended grade level, student aptitude, and social/emotional maturity.
